I went out and found variations on the plant this morning. I actually have never seen one of these that was stable showing the same blizzard over and over but this one apeared more consistently marked than both the parents. It might be the combination of genes offered by both parents causing this or one blizzard gene may be dominant over the other one.

The white throat is dominant here and yes the pink in the throat could reappear in the F2 growout as well as the pink color...if I did this right that is. :)

Here are some variations I found this morning. There was only one lightly blizzard flower seen on bottom right. And there was one with the broader strip seen in top right. The majority of the flowers were very marked up with the blizzard markings like the one seen on top left.

The next step is to do a grow out of at least 30-40 flowers. Is anyone interested in doing a test grow of this purple one? We could divide the seeds out to the ones hwo show interest.

We could keep this thread on here and post results as they occur. I will come back here and post when the seeds are ready. I`m going to grow some out as well.
