If i could get to the base of the plants there would be no problem. This hedge rose is huge and deep and I cant get to where the plants start without tearing myself up. There is a chain link fence in the middle of it and the hedge is just as deep and dense on their side as mine. I have made a sort of shepherds hook out of a dowel and one of those screw in hooks so I can pull the vines out of my reach to me to yank out. This year I am going to try my best to keep it from going to seed as much as possible so next year there won't be so many.
