The company that I worked at for many years had a branch office in Farmington. I was there many times and always managed to take a few side trips,four corners,Indian ruins,etc. My daughter and her husband lived in Farmington for several years while a power plant was being constructed. I have been to many places in your state,Taos,Santa Fe and others. I enjoyed them all. People who have never been to New Mexico don't know what they have missed,beautiful state.
As I recall the airport in Farmington was atop a mesa,or at least it seemed as if it was. Landing was never very exciting, but when you took off and flew off the edge,it was.
