I recently acquired a few dozen Herbertia lahue (Prairie Nymphs) from the property of a friend up near Huntsville......we just happen to be in the right place at the right time.....able to see at least a hundred in bloom....which is wonderful....I think they only display their bloom for a few hours....so I
started digging and was delighted to add these to my garden....the picture
isn't particularly attractive....but gives a good representation of the bloom ( a bit tattered from moving)
