Here is my latest venture. This poor little female hummingbird landed RIGHT smack in front of me while I was outside a minute ago. Well, low & behold, her right wing is broke. Go figure. DH says I have a huge sign on my back that reads: "Wounded, hurt, or problems? No worries, we'll fix it!". ha ha ha, right? What else was I suppose to do? I'm about to build her a little sling, with a small dowel rod to help hold her wing back together and see how she does for the remainder of the week. She eats good so far, so maybe?????? I hate that for her. They are such pretty, graceful birds. I'm off to play nurse for a while! E-behave yourself while I'm away, you here? LOL
