I sometimes hang the hose over a tree limb and let the water fall onto the lower branches of the tree. Was able to photograph a hummie enjoying the gentle shower :o)

Have also found that one hummie takes a 'shower' each morning using the morning dew on the large leaves of my chalice vine. Have watched the little bugger rub itself on the leaves then it will go perch on a nearby trellis to preen and spruce up :o)
