I showed a friend and he told me about oasis, the green foam stuff so i got some and im going to take them apart and redo them with the oasis to hold the leaves in just the right place. The best thing is that the heavier tropical leaves last a really long time in a vase so once i have the bones of the display i can add and delete some of the smaller ones that don't last so long . I have to go home to Ireland on Tuesday so maybe there will be some elements still presentable when i get back. I don't get many flowers so im going to buy some ginger and other tropical stems from the grocery store to add a little color. I like doing the simple single structural ones best, I'm never happy with the bigger ones I think I need some training and then i end up adding to much. Ah well it's all fun and helping me through a difficult time right now.
