Ah was wondering if there were two folks from Taft on here.

The chalice vine can grow big. I've seen it growing in the corner of a yard and the branches run the length of the fence...about 25 feet in two directions.

I keep mine in 5 gallon pots and prune them back so they won't grow wild. Have one in the ground that I haven't pruned back in months. There are some branches that are already 10 feet tall. That's the plant the hummie uses for bathing.

That little hummie shows up each morning between 8 and 9. It rubs itself against the leaves - the morning dew adheres to the feathers and this it goes and perches on a nearby trellis to preen itself. Very cute to watch.

Haven't been able to get good photos yet. Have a couple of short video clips but it moves too fast! I have only this semi-decent photo so far.
