To keep them as isolated as possible (to prevent mold etc. from spreading), I've put them in freezer-grade baggies. This way, they can stay sealed like this for months without drying out. I'm also trying out different seed mixes - some are sown on a layer of vermiculite, and others on long fibre sphag. (Peat mixes do tend to start turning green after a while......) These baggies sit on the edge of the shelves, or wedged in between pots, or clipped to the sides of shelves - whereever I can find a bit of space. |
