The water is as clear as it will ever be and I could see all of them - about 20 - at once. It gets very cloudy in the summer months. Pardon the dirty feet - they've been building a pond. Later, I went to our neighbors house to look at his koi pond. It's one of the prettiest I've seen. There are no small stones, only boulders. It was professionally designed and built - I'm jealous! Will try to get a photo next time. DH laughed and said he would give me a 'rock' for Christmas. I don't think it's the kind one wears on the ring finger......LOL!
