Mark, Acacia dealbata is only said to be hardy to -5C, mine has taken much more but I grew it from a young plant and it's in sandy soil. The flowers on mine have had some frost, they are well in the air so if it's a ground frost it shouldn't damage them.

Mine is in it's second year flowering and is smothered, I got seeds last year but only took a few that I could reach, everyone's been getting some but none left now. It needs space, the scent is unique, nothing else I could liken it to.

I got pics on 19th Feb. not fully open then, it's still flowering.
