Bulbs: More first blooms, 1 by gardener2005

Well,here are a few of my first blooms. I had some of these last year. I dug the tulips up and kept them in a cool drawer all summer and put them in the fridge during winter and planted them in mid January and they look good. I don`t plant them until Jan or Feb because they might sprout too early and get frozen with our sometimes unpredictable weather. This year I will dig them,store them the same way giving them about 10 weeks in the fridge and then plant in Jan or Feb.

I`m unsure how to treat the daffodils and hyacinths. I left some daffodils in the ground last year but haven`t seen that kind yet. They did bloom later than the ones I planted this year. I`ll wait and see.
