I knew it was early to start them but just couldn't wait any longer so I decided to start one of the Tri-color. The potato had been wrapped in newspaper and left lay in my laundry room since last fall. I just unwrapped the potato washed it and gently pulled off any growth that had developed over the winter. Then I placed the whole potato in a container of water half the potato submerged the other half dry. I started this potato on Feb 3rd.
