this is the open area i want to plant, and the corner right where the coyote is, I was thinking of a butterfly bush -- after I clean up all the dead weeds/grasses from this winter.

I do want to leave a lot of it long, as the bunnies hide from the coyotes and the hawks.

IT's a work in progress -- this is just what i want to accomplish this season.

OH - and with that fence being on the west side -- it does shade over - but in the summer, maybe not until 4pm -- though 2pm closer to the fence.

any other tips are appreciated.
