I really like the Downy WPs. I had them last year and the year before but haven't seen any this year.

The Wrens are so cute, I know we have them here, I see them in the summer but never in the winter, I don't know where they are, my book says they're supposed to be here year round.

Lily - the nuthatches as almost as fast as the chickadees, they'll linger for a while on the suet but they hit the seed feeders and are gone!

I'm having a problem with Mr. Mockingbird today. I finally bought him some apples and oranges yesterday, to go with the peanut butter concoction that he's been eating. This morning he was being nice but this afternoon, he's guarding all 9 feeders (only 1 has fruit) do you all suppose he'll give up after a while or should I move "his" feeder to a different location. He's running off anything that tries to feed, Cardinals, Finches, Titmice another Mock etc.... He'll either perch on "his" feeder or in the nearby red buds and fly at anything that comes around.
