That's so nice what you are doing for him. Some years ago when my piglet was alive I had a little dog or cat harness that I would put on her to take her for "walks" in the yard so she could graze. She really enjoyed that. I realized what a mellow personality she had so I eventually gave up on the harness and let her run around in my fenced in backyard for hours at a time . She made her own hideaway cave out of the rows of day lilly leaves.
