Bird Watching: Sapsucker & owl question, 1 by betterbloom

I finally got out the other day to get some bird pics...then the batteries went dead in my golf cart....not good, they are shot. Batteries cost around $450 ..so it looks like I will be walking the park for awhile. I did get a picture of a sapsucker, but that was all. The great horned owls have mated and looks like they may be nesting in the same tree as previous years. Does anyone know how long after they mate, they lay the eggs ?
