Bird Watching: American Goldfinch, 1 by TomAdams

I'm like Murmur in Washington, our goldfinches just don't have the color of the Eastern variety. I was visiting my Mother in Ohio in June and watching her feed her glorious goldfinches, so I brought back to California a 'sock' feeder. I'm attracting the local flock but they're not as colorful.
