These Jays are very entertaining the more I watch them... Another somethin' somethin' one of these did today. (Continuing the story above).
The Jays are managing around the many doves. They are actually learning to work together pretty well. Here in this picture of one of the Jays with some Mouring Doves. Watch as he shovels out some of the smaller seeds for the Doves to eat, to the left and to the right, then he picks out and gobbles up only the peanut halves. Doves like to pick it off the ground anyway much of the time. Farmer Blue Jay here is really smart to feed his Doves! Everyone was happy..
