Garden Pests and Diseases: Zucchini problem, 1 by HenBar

The started out great I picked 4 squash and then the four plants started to wilt from what appears to be some sort of disease. I am getting ready to order my seeds for this year and would like to get something that is not as susceptible to whatever this is. Any thoughts as to what this problem is and what can be done to prevent and/or eliminate it would be greatly appreciated.
