Before I became a gardener, I often thought of getting a lop, but the mix of current pets never was such that a bunny would survive my household unless always caged. Now that I'm a gardener, bunnies are not at the top of my welcome list. They do a lot of damage in my garden. Last summer was the worst and I think it was because Reggie was getting to old to chase after them. I'm hoping the new little guy will be more aggressive. As it stands now, I believe I'll be investing in quite a bit of chicken wire this year.

No fair having blooming plants in the middle of winter, Nery!!! Three more long months before we start seeing plants pop up here. I tried planting some pels directly in the ground one year and they didn't do very well. Keep them in pots and they thrive. Actually, I think they just really love whatever is in Miracle Grow potting soil. I should buy stock in that company.

What are your little guy's names? The new puppy would look great with them as he is pure white. One more week and he will be here. I wonder what he will destroy first.

How do you like these? Dark blue petunias with white million bells.
