LOL at picking up every other grain of fertilizer.....the visual of that.......the neighbors will know for sure that I have gone off the deep end. Too funny. I will heed you instructions and lighten up on the fertlizer next year.

When these tulips have given up the ghost and quit blooming I was thinking of replacing them with red and white tulips. And not arrange them in rows but swaths of alternating red and white.....so the bed looked like a giant peppermint stick/candy cane.
