I had no camera in hand. There was this big beautiful tree decked out with lovely birding ornaments and this ugly cardinal sticking out like a sore thumb. No camera so I purchased the ugly little thing.

The photo does make him look much better than he actually is. I have never seen a cardinal look so mean.
