Plantcrazii wrote: First let me tell you all the story about my AVs. I have them in my greenhouse and I keep them a little above 65 degrees. One night the heater went out and the temperature went down to 50 degrees. I just knew they would all die. I never expected them to bloom. Well they decided to do their own thing and started blooming. I did not even know that many of them were blooming because they are on shelves, some of which are above eye level. So a couple days ago I was in the greenhouse doing some cleaning and what did I find? Several of my violets were blooming. I need to give them a good cleaning because some of them are a little dusty and I can't find my little paint brush that I use to brush the dust off of the leaves. I know that many of you wash yours off but I'm too afraid to. I'm afraid they will all die if I get water on the leaves. Anyway, here are some of the ones that are blooming right now. Some of them have just started blooming so there may be only one flower but they are blooming. This one is Ness' Blueberry Puff. Jesse |
