In the City Park Botanical Garden there is a two-block long archway of sweet olive trees on both sides. Because the trees have such beautiful structure and are still very sturdy, though dead, the Park has not removed them. Lack of funds and labor are other reasons for them still being there. However, they are now sprayed white for the Christmas in the Oaks event and will look even lovelier at night with the clear lights in them. Below is a photo. |
