In fact, I haven't seen many butterflies on the smaller one. But again, I just planted it a couple months ago and it is probably just getting established in my yard. Next Spring will determine how big it may get. My larger one has very large leaves as well. Bigger flowers, too. Which is probably why the bees and butterflies like it so much. I have also heard that hummers like it, too. (I wouldn't know about that.) But it is a monster porterweed! I'll post the picture again. It is bigger now than in the picture I took several weeks ago. |
