The Cassia gets about 8-10ft high in one season here in TX with a lot of watering. In FL it could get bigger, so space them out very well or they will overlap leaves.. In some tropical places, (such as the Philippines), they reach 25', and are on the Invasives list there. Here is one of mine (pic) I'm planning to overwinter. It is about 8' tall now. I think you could sow some well marked seeds now where you live, and see what happens...it should break its dormancy and then come up early next year. Save some to start in January in a warm place just in case.
