My recipe for Crepes, and people come from millions of miles and my children cry for them: One cup or so of Bisquick, or Jiffy One eggy One to Two cups of milk Mix all this together, to make a thin batter, very thin. Heat a fry pan with butter or whatever, and then, pour in a bit and tilt the pan all around to spread the batter. Let it set for a few moments, and then it will be easy to flip, if not then uh oh. throw that one out and do another one. usually the first two pancakes are always dog food or chicken treats anyhow, or mine (lol). then you put butter on top to serve it and then sprinkle regular sugar all over it lightly, and then eat it. Its as thin as nimbus clouds and swooningly elegant and crispy, soft and delicious. this recipe was passed down to me from the cooks at the Denmark Royal palace. ================================= I also love to give my eggies away. Today, my DH came into the house, he was so Proud, with an egg. It was the biggest egg I have ever seen in my life. Here is a pix of it, compared with the rest of my eggs. There is also a brown egg he found that is gianter than the rest too. I think I will have him collect eggs from now on. : ) |
