Keyring wrote: what does your Rudolph Valentino look like? I recently found mine - I got it as a cutting last year. I must say, it looks awful :-( I have leaves on the tips, but the rest of the stems have completely defoliated..... I've moved it to a spot where I can see it. I've seen descriptions of it as having light green leaves, but mine are medium-dark green. Red tinge to the stems, red backs.... Generally gorgeous (in my opinion ;-) but I'm guessing that perhaps I need to give mine more light. I also just looked up the parents - C. schiediana on one side (that's the one with speckled red flowers and is a real rugged grower - takes all kinds of abuse), and a mess of several species on the other (including one erythrophaea grandparent). Anyway..... keep us posted on how yours does. :-) ooops, almost forgot. Does yours look like this? |
