That's a pretty picture of your front walkway with a gorgeous amaranthus. You might try saving some seeds from the blooms. But I've not ever collected any so I can't tell you how. My guess is you just collect its blooms, let them dry out and then shake, or extract, the seeds from that.

Yours in the photo resembles amaranthus Candatus 'Velvet Curtains.' I took a picture of one at Penn State's Cooperative Extension trial garden site at State College, PA.
