I took a tour of some of our gardens that we have installed within the last year and found that some of the Japanese maples that were planted on the NORTH side of the houses had sun burnt leaves as well as some of the ferns and a vew rhodo's.

Fortunately most will rebound well but the rhodos will have the brown sun burnt splotch on its leaves for awhile . - very disappointing, especially when the plant is front and center and you have to walk past it every day when coming and going from your house.
