When the seedpod starts to turn brown, pick it and put it in a sealed envelope. It will explode when it is fully ripe. Your sealed envelope should keep the seeds enclosed the envelope; otherwise, they would fly a great distance. The seedpod is very hard but will explode open when the seeds are ready. The yellow leaves are probably from underwatering. |
