3/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoon baking powder

Sift above into large bowl

whisk two very large eggs

add to flour
stir till all flour is absorbed
last add 1 cup of raisins

put into baking dish, cut with knife a deep slit down the middle , sprinle with a bit of granulated sugar, bake for 1 hour

cool and serve with sweet butter
