Tammy, you have no blue skies? We are having a mixture here, very pleasant!

Lily lust is a progressive disease!

I have a 'sport' on my 'Duet' dahlia, which is blood red with white tips. Just one stem on a clump I removed about 6 years ago when I moved the whole plant. I planted it about a foot away from the parent and they have been there for that long in the ground, always flowering but I haven't looked after them at all, just an accasional bit of fertiliser thrown their way and once or twice mulched but generally it hasn't had any real protection in winter.

This stem has made it's second flower with more making, but a snail is eating the tips off before it opens and it looks tatty. I would have gone out last night to look for it if I could have been bothered. The next one to open yesterday was complete, today is eaten!

What do you all think to this one if you can imagine it with it's white tips? I think it is unique, is this going to make me rich? The red striping is a rich ruby but other than that what you see is correct.
