I never have studied spider mites, Jeanette, so your observations may be universally true. I can just see the damage they do a mile away on my brugs. And what the bottom side of the leaf looks like when infested. They seem to work fast too. I think the wind takes them all over.

Broad mites are much worse to me. They so deform what they attack. Here is that absent pic. LOL
