I moved a great deal of perennials with me from my old garden and had to start cutting grass and making plant beds for them all - a lot of work and I'm still slowly expanding the flowerbeds on the grass's expense! I've also moved almost every shrub that was there to a new location, there are a few that are still in their original place but they are also on the moving list for next spring ... lucky for me my husband is willing to help me out although he can't always understand why I have to keep moving things around ;-) Here's a before photo to give you an idea of how things looked when we moved in, taken in May 2003 |
