Not an ear and not really a tropical but you have to add these to your tropical beds. These are super easy from seed.

Isn't the sky beautiful? We had some nice storms last night and today it is clear and the humidity has dropped. Looks like my ears will get another 165 gallons of rain water from my barrels. :) I have not used anything on my ears this year other than rain water and rabbit poo. They probably had Osmocote in their original gallon pots and the did get hose water then.
