When I am out weeding or watering and I see a cool bug, I have my camera right there plus it fits in my purse. Photo opportunities can come quickly in the garden! If you have to go back into the house to get your camera, your bug might disappear.

Here is my one of my favorite pix of this summer: a green mantis standing on a lady-in-red hydrangea petal... you can see how tiny she is!
