Good almost-still-morning, all. Teed off at 6:30, not another soul on the course, and we finished by 8:15 in spite of balls going off in all the wrong directions, and flies trying to bite us. By the time we got done it must have been 90*. Stopped at one of those family restaurants on the way home to have breakfast, won't stop there again, it was pretty awful. First they burnt the English Muffin, then when I sent it back they gave me one that never even came near the toaster.... but they did give me three slices of melon that were cold and refreshing.

WS, try searching the 'net for a Corgi rescue organization, you could skip the puppy/housebreaking stage and still get a nice dog.

And, uhhhhhhhhh, speaking of dogs. I am humbly apologizing for laughng at Bonnie and Mr. B's romantic interlude. No,wait, beyond apologizing, I am groveling in shame at my thoughtless laughter, and asking for forgiveness and begging not to have one of the Jack-be-terrs shipped to me because I am moving in 62 days and leaving no forwarding address for packages. deliveries, yes I am, you do believe me don't you?

Somer, Mr. Duke looks like he can do anything he pleases!! That's Olivia, Food, NOW, lap, NOW, petting NOW...good thing she's tiny, she'd be a terror if she were his size. We did have a siamese years ago that could open just about anything, doors, cupboards, and he could jump from the floor to the top of the 'frig (or your shoulder) in one leap and never touch anything on the way up. He was one very clever boy. One year at Thanksgiving he managed to open the door to our enclosed porch, and lick the entire top off a pumpkin pie. Now, little CC looks much more well behaved. Pink flamingoes and dodo birds, what time should we arrive??

Darius, thanks for the update on Molly. Give her our hellos and tell her we miss her. You will be happier and cooler when the A/C is done. The heat is probably what slowed the setting of the peach melba, it thought it was still cooking on the stove! I took the weed whacker to my snapdragons when I got home this morning. I thought about using the clippers but it was so awful out there, I just grabbed it and in ten minutes had done all the ones in front. I'm sure they'll bloom some more. Not going out there again today....

Sarv, Yeah, I'll go and try the perm and if it's awful, get it all cut off.

Misty, hope you take a spritzer bottle with you today, it helps a lot just to get a spray of cool water. Goats on the roof? LOL there's a restaurant up in Door County WI that has a grass roof, and the goats are up there all the time. Big tourist attraction.

I know I haven't addressed everyone, but you know I read everything, and I'm thinking about you even if I'm not commenting directly . Want a before and after hair picture??? It looks pretty bad right now, after golfing, sweating, getting windblown.... etc. so even a bad perm should be an improvement!

Later!

Sheila
