MaryE wrote: Good morning. It's sunny, going to be warm enough, about 80 they say, we have some of the cooler air coming down from Canada for the next day or two. Yesterday I didn't get the lawn mowed so that is up near the top of the list today. Meezer, your cats help so much! Funny to picture all of that action, and Sammy looking down into the washer until the monster started to move! AmandaPanda helps make beds too. When she was quite small she started drinking out of the toilet, I found footprints, so I watched for my chance, and flushed it at the right moment. That ended that. It's hard to remember who said what, but I'll take a stab at it, maybe with interesting results. Susieq, so sorry to hear that your co-worker's husband is not going to be getting well. I hope the time they have together is good, and that he can be fairly comfortable. It is so sad. Most of us have been spared that ordeal. I'm glad I rasied my kids when we could still spank them. What nonsense parents have to deal with today, and the results are not good. I wonder when the pendleum will swing back the other way. Dr Spock sure did make a mess. It is sad about the kids of today being so lazy. My neighbor had a couple of boys working changing irrigation pipes, one was good, the other didn't do the job and then lied to him about it. No more work for that one. He had a Mexican man who was a good worker, he came up for several years and went back to Mexico for the winter, but he is getting old and didn't come to the US this year. Cece, maybe the fair will have a pond you can look at, relax next to, etc. He might be thinking, don't rush him. Defoe, BeeJay Terriers, they will have interesting looking ears for sure. No, I'm not laughing (much), mistakes happen. The OOps pups. At least with small dogs they won't present them a dozen at a time like some larger breeds. Fritz is semi mellow. He is in full terrier mode at times and pretty laid back at others. He can go from sound asleep to attack dog in an instant. I need to take him for another long walk this morning so he will be on the mellow side the rest of the day. My neighbor brought a load of hay this morning, I think it is about 4 tons. It's tricky getting it in the barn but the truck bed tilts and the whole load is set down at one time. And hopefully stays where it is put. Today 3 bales fell off the top of the load at the back edge before the load was in place, but once they were moved out of the way the load was put down without any more problem. It's one of those "hold your breath and hope everything goes right" jobs, and usually we get the hay when I am the only one home. I'll post some pictures so you can see. Ok, gotta go, back later when it gets hot. ~~~ if I missed you. |
