Well, this is my very first post as a newly subscribed member to Dave's Garden. I ordered a "Simple Pleasures" hibiscus from Hidden Valley Hibiscus which arrived today looking beautiful and very healthy with two fat buds. The problem? I live in San Bernardino, CA and it was 108 degrees today and tomorrow doesn't look cooler. Is it too hot to plant early in the morning, or will my new hibiscus be okay? If it is okay to plant (it will get morning sun and afternoon shade with plenty of water), is there something special I should put on it to counteract the extreme heat wave we're having?
