Verbena, Jasmine, Chinese Wild Ginger, Sweet Woodruff, Violas, Siberian Iris, Goatsbeard, Trillium. Edelweiss, May Apple, Anemone, Japanese Painted Fern, Helleborus, and Coral Bells would be some nice perenials to try. I'd definitely fill in with pansies, impatiens, chamomile and snaps or cosmos until the longer lived plants fill in. This is going to be fun! Please, please--post photos!
