You all know what's great about taking flower pics? Makes you take a really good look at them. I'm even dumber than I thought. I have a clump of 3 red daylilies that my landscaper put in 4 years ago. thought they were all the same. always wondered why one bloomed a week or 2 before the others. also thought the color faded as the summer went on. took a really good look today and the 2 are not the same plant as the earlier one. duh! if this sounds at all familiar, take a look at my post from July 15, 10:27 about the unknown yellow daylilies.

anyway, here's a pic with both of the DL's (looks pretty obvious to me now) and my newly blooming Russian sage on one side of the shasta daisies, 'Strawberry Candy' bloomin' away on the other side.
