I have a mother plant which is 23 years old (now we have many from it) that we bought at a flower show in NYC on the pier in 1983. It is always specular. Last spring it had 9 stalks of blooms. I only have a snippet of it in the lower left corner of this picture. I am going to spring for a yellow one as a gift to my DH. Enjoy your new treasure. Patti
