I have 3 varieties of weigela, columbine, New York aster, purple coneflower, shasta daisy, scabiosa, Russian sage, rudbeckia, monarda which has yet to bloom. I have 2 butterfly bushes that look to be goners, and some campanula that I think the Canada geese are eating. There is also a clematis and some daylilies. I have one feeder up and my next door neighbor has one also. And she has a lot of hummer friendly plantings as well. Here's a pic of my 'fairy' garden with hummer plants from earlier this spring, looking towards my neighbor's house. Only the weigela and columbine were blooming. |
