You can try this stuff called shade, I will have to look and see what the name is but Lowe's caries it and that is what it is suppose to do. It turns your water blue and maybe that might help you..Here is a picture of mine right after I added it..
Nice to see someone close to where I use to live, my kids still live in and around Houston still..
