Hi Kell
It has been a couple of late evenings in the garden, trying to get the south side of my house looking better.

I do water my pots by hand, when I have irrigation I often scoop a bucket of water and water that way, so they get a good soaking twice a week and an occasional watering from the hose. The plants are really responding to the fertilizer, growing like weeds.

You may look up the Boy Scouts of America, they can get gardening merit badges and in the process help you with the garden. I have enjoyed having a couple of 12 year old boys come and help me. I pay them and that helps fund their trip to scout camp. And in the process they learn. I try to make it enjoyable and informative. We have had a lot of fun.
I have found that they tire easily tough, We only work for 1-2 hours at a time. (I send them home and continue). The older boys have a bit more energy. I hope to have these two helping me for a few years.

We are leaving tomorrow morning to visit our son, DIL, and 3 grandsons, (I AM SO EXCITED - lots of hugs) will be gone for 3 days, I have instructed my daughter on irrigation and watering the flower pots.

I have a sweet friend I met about 5 years that has a real 'yard sale', she has a greenhouse and sells wonderful periennials from her home, there are pots everywhere. I visited her yesterday, just couldn't resist, more planting coming up. My sweetheart just cringes when I say I am going to see Nedra, he knows what is coming, more plants and less money.

Well, enjoy the day. Marie

Since I don't have any brugs yet I post pictures of what I have.
This picture reminds me of the 4th of July
