Dave 47, What I have blooming now is salvia, colombine, irises and chives (lovely flowering filler), baptisia, kale, blue-eyed grass (sisyrinchium), and pansies and violas, all for sun. I have perennial violas & violets, ( labrador has purple leaves). Just about to bloom is penstemon "husker red"red leaves, white bell flowers, that turn to garnet red seed pods-nice backed by black-eyed susan. For shadier spots wild geranium, tiarella and heucheras are blooming now. It looks like we are amost in the same zone, hope this is helpful. Pixie |
