Somebody named Mrs. Neu a lier.The color is a very dark pink and turns reddish when climate conditions are perfect; warm, high air humidity.
Mrs. Neu lived in the warm vine growing regions. I made this picture 1996 at my place and it was on the cover of my first book edition for acknowledgment of Mrs. Neu.
