I sowed the seeds at about 20-25 C and they germinated in about 4 weeks. It does have a bit of a tuberous root and will disappear for a few months after it blooms when it should be kept dry. I really know little about their cycle....it is suppose to be a bit complicated so I will have to do research now in order to keep it going. I have another species I grew from seed at the same time called A. pelegrina...a pink-flowered type. Some buds fell off so I am doing something wrong with that one. One plant still has one bud so I am hopeful I will get to see what that one is like. It is also quite short.

I also grew A. pallida, sown in May and flowered in October. That plant is taller and quite gangly so I am not as impressed but the flower is still lovely.
